HI MY LOVES! Below is an email from my sister. This could be a big break for her career, so if you guys could just take the time to vote, it'd mean A LOT to all of us. ♥ ♥!!

So I just found out that a comic I did with a writer I know has been
chosen to take part in a competition run by DC Comics—that’s right,
the publisher of Batman and Superman. The big guys.

The competition lasts for the month of November, and the site just
went live today (Monday, Nov 2)—and I just wanted to email and beg for
votes! As I’m sure many of you know, I’ve been trying to break into
comics for a few years now—and if my partner and I come in first place
in this contest, we’ll be given a contract to continue the story.
We’ve already got our foot in the door, getting this far, but at this
point it’s up to you (and everyone you can pass it on to!) to get us
to #1.

If you're interested and want to help, here's all you have to do :)

So today NaNoWriMo officially started. Is anyone on my lovely flist also doing it this year? My plan write now (pun! I had to.) is this Supernatural idea I've got. It's not really fleshed out at all, but. Who knows.

If that fails, I may try and write some more for this year's SGA Big Bang that I never finished. Sigh.

Michael leaves for Basic next Monday/Tuesday, though. So if he's free to talk this week, I'm not going to be writing. I'll either try to catch up on the challenge or just drop it. We'll see. ♥ atleast it'll take my mind off things after he's left and I can't talk to him all the time :\

ALSO!!! WE WON OUR FINAL MARCHING BAND COMPETITION!!! We won Grand Champions at our first competition in September, won 2nd place at our second competition and only lost by 0.1 of a point, and won Grand Champions AGAIN at our last competition yesterday.

This year was a great year to be a Lion. I'm sad I won't ever march again, though :(
